SalaryThe position of Sales Engineer would suit a very strong account management & salesperson who is now looking to expand and develop within a more autonomous role. The role would suit an outstanding communicator with the technical ability to meet the needs and find solutions for their customer.
We seek an experienced Sales Engineer with direct sales and account management experience, ideally within an engineering/scientific or similar bias.
Your territory is the South West. This includes: Chichester, Andover, Swindon, Oxford, Banbury, Gloucester, including South Wales. You will live with good access to motorways, in order to visit customers up to 4 days per week.

As Area Sales Engineer you will have overall responsibility and ownership of managing key accounts and new accounts.
- Supporting distributors and customers in the South West of the UK
- Grow existing customer base and develop new business in the South-West region
- Answering technical queries via phone and email
- Visits to customers to help recommend, specify and introduce adhesives into a production line
- Complaint support, investigation, and troubleshooting
- Technical training and new product training for distributors
- Support with manning exhibitions when required
- Track sales leads, samples, and projects, ensure regular feedback from customers / distributors.
- Keep company CRM database updated with visit reports, projects, opportunities etc.
- Support new product launches and promotional activities
- Negotiate and provide pricing and quotations for customers
- Provide account sales support
- Liaise with customer services and credit control to help service accounts
- Maintain and develop relationships with integrators who manufacture equipment such as dispensers, UV lamps, surface preparation equipment.
