Proactive Sales & Events Manager

Multi-faceted stylish restaurant, bar & experiential leisure operation

Location:Lytham St Annes/Preston/Blackpool

Salary: Around £30,000 plus bonus & benefits

My client is an exciting ground-breaking operator & is well-known & well-respected in developing leisure & hospitality concepts throughout the UK & beyond.

They are launching a multi-faceted leisure, events, multi-media and hospitality concept and are looking for a proactive Sales & Events Manager to grow corporate & personal events, manage existing relationships, create bespoke packages and network to grow business & sales, implementing the company’s strategy within the venue.

What are we looking for ?:

· Previous experience as a strong Business Development Manager or Sales & Events Manager from a cool experiential leisure, club, bar, restaurant, hotel or multi-faceted leisure background.

· Strong & vibrant personality – Hungry to do well & passionate about sales

· A real ‘Brand Ambassador’ who knows what it takes to drive sales.

· A strong, clear, driven Sales & Events Manager who strives to hit and over-achieve on their numbers and understands the value of their role.

· Pro-active experience with a proven track record and the ability to drive corporate Sales & Events into venues - not afraid to cold call where necessary and build a pipeline - a real 'go-getter'.

· A networker who can develop and build strong relationships with the local community.

· The ability to identify new opportunities and handle every enquiry and booking with the highest standard of customer service.

· The ability to build on the existing company strategy to attract loyal corporate spenders ensuring that they are engaged with the venues and their multiple offerings & uses and who are strong at forward-planning.

· The ability to manage & maximise existing relationships, increasing repeat bookings as well as developing new relationships to grow business further, creating bespoke packages tailor-made to a client’s requirements.

· Experience of working with booking systems and strong admin & reporting skills.

· The ability to create

· Experience of working to targets and budgets.

· The ability to hit the ground running, with the ability to develop a strong pipeline of continuous business, making the most of existing relationships, forging new connections & encouraging regular repeat business & growing private room sales.

· The ability to manage your own clients end to end through to billing

· Experience of identifying opportunities and driving corporate & private events into a business.

· Proven experience in sales event planning within an experiential leisure, restaurant, bar, club, hotel or multi-faceted entertainment business

Salary & Package:

The starting salary is up to around £30,000 plus various benefits including bonus
