Sales Executive

My client who are specialists within the Vehicle Safety Industry are looking for a talented and skilled Sales Executive to join their business located in the Hertfordshire area. The Sales executive will be responsible for conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs in order to upsell and promote where necessary. In addition, the Sales Executive will be actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking at events and exhibitions in order to set up meetings with potential customers ensuring all needs and requirements are understood. The Sales Executive therefore must have great interpersonal skills as well as strong listening skills to ensure the customer is receiving the highest level of customer service. Sales Executive Package:

• £30,000 base salary + Commission
• Monday - Friday
• Office based

Sales Executive Responsibilities:

• Ability to build good working relationships.
• Research the market and aware of new products and services.
• Ability to present product or service with strong knowledge.
• Cold call to arrange with potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Gathering market and customer information.
• Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
• Ability to negotiate.
• Represent company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
• Consistently meeting and exceeding targets.

Sales Executive Requirements:

• Share the ability and desire to sell.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated with ambition to succeed.
• Previous experience in a sales environment is a plus but not essential!
• Ability to work well on own initiative as well as in a team.
