My client is a dynamic and forward-thinking service provider, dedicated to providing an excellent level of service to their growing Recruitment Sector customer base. Due to increased business growth and demand, they now require a motivated Sales Executive/ Account Manager to join their Business Development team.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless interactions between clients and the Senior Sales Team. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate with clients and the wider team to schedule sales appointments and business development opportunities efficiently. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients, embodying the business’s dedication to delivering exceptional service. As much as your focus will be to enhance sales, you will also have an element of “warm” business available to you.
This is a perfect opportunity for a confident, service focussed and friendly communicator to take their first step into a Business Development career.
My client is happy to train on their business model but what you will need is a motivated work ethic, a team player mentality, excellent communication skills and a desire to do well.
Job Description:
- Proactively reach out to existing Clients and new sales leads to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proactively make introductory calls to a high volume of potential new clients
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences.
- Proactively work to schedule, service check or sales meetings with new and existing clients.
- Coordinate with the team to allocate appointments to Account Managers
- Update and maintain the appointment booking system accurately.
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders to clients, providing all necessary information.
- Manage the cancelation or rescheduling of any appointments as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimise the scheduling process and customer experience.
- Work towards agreed call/ sales targets.
- Manage pre existing accounts to provide an ongoing level of excellent service.
Requirements:
- Confident and friendly communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong and trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and positive work ethic with the motivation to chase new business leads and drive sales opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Query resolution skills with the ability to resolve problems accordingly.
- Previous experience in a target driven sales position.
- Previous experience gained in either an umbrella payroll or recruitment sector position is highly advantageous.
- Experience of using diary management and/ or appointment booking software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work to KPIs in a fast paced and target driven environment.
- The desire to develop in a Sales Executive or Business Development career.
- A motivated and proactive approach to targets.
- The ability to work as part of a positive, friendly, and sociable team.
