Sales Leader – UK & Ireland
Location – anywhere in the UK (there will be frequent travelling)
As part of our European growth strategy, Diversey are currently recruiting a TASKI Business Leader for the UK & Ireland. This position will see the successful candidate lead the sales growth of the TASKI business area, which focuses on cleaning machines, accessories and services. This is a sector where we see a real opportunity for growth in the UK&IE, and which will represent a focus for us in the upcoming years.
In this role you will cover a range of responsibilities, being responsible for driving sales of TASKI products, managing the field engineers supporting our valued customers, and ensuring financial success through effective P&L management. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and expertise in financial management, pricing, and customer profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
%CF; Develop and execute financial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
%CF; Manage the P&L for the UK & Ireland operations, ensuring financial objectives are met.
%CF; Implement cost-control measures and optimize operational efficiency.
%CF; Develop annual operating plans including budgets as well as gross margin enhancement strategies
2. Pricing and Gross Margin Optimization:
%CF; Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and gross margin.
%CF; Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to set competitive and profitable pricing.
%CF; Collaborate with the global pricing team to align strategies and ensure consistency.
3. Customer Profitability:
%CF; Analyze customer profitability and implement initiatives to enhance overall customer value.
%CF; Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
%CF; Implement customer segmentation strategies for targeted marketing and sales efforts.
4. Sales Leadership:
%CF; Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for TASKI cleaning machines in the UK & Ireland.
%CF; Build and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
%CF; Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.
5. Service offering:
%CF; Develop and implement a comprehensive service offering
%CF; Deploy technical service support effectively to support revenue growth of service
6. Team Management:
%CF; Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performance sales and engineering team.
%CF; Utilize Salesforce.com to track, analyze, and improve team sales performance.
%CF; Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between sales and technical support functions.
%CF; Provide coaching and support to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
7. Compliance and Corporate Standards:
%CF; Ensure adherence to corporate standards, policies, and ethical business practices.
%CF; Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
· BA in Business or a related area;
· 10+ years of Sales and Marketing management experience;
· Strong planning and analysis skills to perform quantitative data analysis;
· Proven experience working with large and diverse global user groups (for example Finance, Supply Chain and R
· Experience with CRM tools, funnel management and structuring sales quota and revenue expectations;
· Experience with Inside Sales and Customer Care;
· Experience in Team Management;
· Demonstrated strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit;
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams;
· A change agent with highly evolved influencing skills.
