This Sales Managerposition is working for a sub-contractor precision manufacturer in the Portsmouth area. The role is Monday to Friday offering working regular office hours. The role is also paying around £50,000. There is the possibility for hybrid working, especially due to the field aspect of this role.
The successful Sales Manager will have a variety of duties and responsibilities. One aspect of the role will be developing a pipeline of opportunities to ensure that there are new sales leads, contributing to accurate forecasts and the success of the business strategies. There is also the need for the day-to-day management of the objectives to ensure that strategy is being implemented into the everyday sales process. The Sales Manager will need to support the business becoming a Supplier of Choice for customers within the market and industry. Not only does this involve strengthening relationships with existing customers, but this involves research into new prospects, building and strengthening new relationships and then being able to penetrate new markets broadening the company's position.
Knowledge of Injection Moulding Machinery and Tooling is essential with this role.
You will need:
- Ideally a degree or similar qualification in Business Management or relevant subject
- At least 5 years in a fast paced sales role within the manufacturing or precision engineering industry
- Knowledge of Injection Mould tools
- To be able to identify new sales opportunities and coordinate strategy
- To be able to build strong rapport with decision makers and customers
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A Full UK Driving license
