The successful Sales Manager will be responsible for...

Sales Targets

• Deliver your sales targets in an ethical manner.
• Maintain an overview and insight of all client accounts.
• Nurture existing clients and hunt for new.
• Provide clients with quotations in collaboration with Scoping Team
• Negotiate quotations, close sales and process new orders via sales admin.
• Timely follow-up of enquiries, pending/open quotations and orders
• Manage and report sales pipeline, i.e., opportunities, quotes and orders.

Sales Relationships

• Arrange visits/calls with existing and potential new clients.
• Optimise cross-selling of their products and services across all Business Units.
• Gather market /client information and provide feedback on buying trends to inform NPD activities.
• Explores and analyses market trends and identifies new opportunities relevant to business unit(s).
• Support and collaborate with other Sales Managers and teams across business units and their products sectors to promote test services and win new business.
• Support the Head of Sales in developing and executing a sales plan
• Preparation and monitoring of sales KPIs and activity log
• Attend weekly sales and monthly commercial review meetings.
• Represent organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, potential clients, trade associations and other relevant organisations.

• Broad understanding of building and construction industry, products and regulations
• Experience working directly or indirectly in a UKAS accredited and/or product development/R&D environment

Job Offer

On offer to the successful Sales Manager is...

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DoE)
• £5k car allowance
• Quarterly bonus of c£4,000-£5,000
• 25 days holiday
• 6% pension contribution
