Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Roofing Sales Manager to oversee our sales department in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of roofing sales representatives, setting clear targets and goals for the team.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their roofing needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Forecasting: Analyse market trends, track sales data, and prepare sales forecasts to make informed business decisions.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI and profitability.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with roofing industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Performance Metrics: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team to ensure they meet and exceed targets.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including operations and marketing, to align strategies and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in roofing sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, products, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
