Sales Order Coordinator

£30K - £35K per annum
My client is seeking an experienced Sales Order Coordinator to join their friendly team. Supporting the Sales team with one other Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of Sales Orders. You will:
- Carry out regular contact with existing customers, progressing quotations and following up on purchase orders
- Acknowledge and process customer orders ensuring these are placed with the relevant supplier and are completed within set deadlines
- Manage incoming supplier invoices, check for errors and process payment
- Work closely with the international teams, liaising about the Sales Orders, their delivery schedule and shipment
- Work closely with the suppliers and manage any operational issues
- Keep track on all shipments and update the customers with any delays
- Assisting with any VAT queries on the international shipments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
- Facilitate communication between the sales team and the clients
- Produce and distribute invoices
- Maintain all Sales Orders/records and produce reports to the management team
- Manage and document all paperwork
- Manage all incoming calls and emails and deal with accordingly
The ideal candidate will:
- Have commercial understanding
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar role
- Have good working knowledge on Microsoft office, predominantly within Excel
- Ideally have a good understanding of international shipments
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to manage a large workload effectively
- Have strong attention to detail
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:30hrs.
