An exciting opportunity has arisen for a focussed, driven New Business Sales Person to join our market leading company, based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is primarily a new business role. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated salesperson that with training will understand our products and be able to communicate effectively with customers.
We offer a unique series of products to our customers and expect the following from our sales team:
Role and Responsibilities
- To close sales from inbound leads, follow-up and make pro-active outbound calls and email to current customers and to identify new sales opportunities. Customers may include small business clients right through to corporate accounts.
- To actively seek new business.
- Prepare and submit sales quotes to a high standard, ensuring timely follow up to secure profitable orders.
- Close sales deals and actively contribute towards monthly sales targets.
- Ability to close business over the phone.
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Outlook – Sage and Act desirable but not essential, teams experience desirable
- Cold calling experience.
- Confident disposition in own ability to sell world class products
- Professional attitude and telephone manner.
- 2- or more years proven experience in successful selling
- Demonstrate ability to communicate and negotiate at corporate level
- General technology experience advantageous
- Radio communications experience advantageous
This role has the potential to turn into a sales management position in the future should we recruit a suitable candidate that has the potential.
