Basis: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Our client are looking for a New Homes Sales Progressor to join their successful New Homes Sales Team. The ideal applicant will have a working knowledge of leases and sales contracts along with a background within a sales or estate agency role of a similar nature. You will also be required to perform administrative tasks as part of your role, achieving high standards of service to our customers. You need to be a self-starter with a flexible approach to work, you must have the ability to work well on both an individual basis and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service at all times.
The role will involve working with The New Homes Sales Contracts Manager to progress all shared ownership and private sale contracts, involving regular liaison with solicitors and internal clients to achieve exchange and legal completion timeframes and targets.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of New Build Sales Progressor will involve:
Liaising with internal departments relating to the completion of new build properties, ensuring new customers are added to the system, welcome letters are issued to customers and utility companies are advised.
Approving mortgage offers for shared ownership properties, to issue approval letters to solicitors
Assisting in processing utility bills for shared ownership and outright sale homes, liaising with the creditors team to upload invoices on to EBIS
To chase outstanding IFA and solicitor information from Sales Advisors in order to issue memo of sales
To prepare leases and sales contracts for signing and sealing in house, including scanning and distribution to all parties
Processing and transferring data on to EDRM once a sale has completed, in order for files to be accessible to the whole company
To chase completed 7 day forms from outright sales customers after completion, for processing by the Customer Care Manager
Excellent phone manner, needs to assist with answering incoming customer enquiry calls relating to their workload.
As a minimum they need you to have:
Experience of working within a new build or estate agency background
Ability to carry out simple calculations involving percentages and general calculation of customer monthly charges for contracts and leases
Must be able to demonstrate experience of working to deadlines involving the customer experience
A passion to deliver excellent customer service
Have the ability to multitask and carry out all sales processes methodically, following all sales through from start to completion
