. Sales Representative. (We would call someone from a technical background a Technical Sales Engineer)

. Reporting to the Sales Manager
. Office based when not visiting Customers
. Monday to Friday with occasional weekend travel as the role develops
Industry
. Selling Hi-Tech Vision Camera and Quality Control Machines to Manufactures of Glass Bottles, all over the world
Location
. Just off M1 - Between Sheffield & Leeds
Salary Level
. £26,000 to £30,000 Basic Salary + Bonus + Pension + Laptop + Mobile Phone
. Negotiable dependant on experience
. Possibility for a salary to increase once able to travel on your own, and have learned about the products
Role
. Under guidance of the Sales Manager, get involved in all aspects of the Sales Process from start to finish
. Have input to the company's Sales & Marketing strategy
. Work with Sales Manager to Design and Generate Marketing Materials (Print and Digital / social media)
. Help to generate enquiries
. Visit Customer Factories (UK and overseas)
. Present and/or demonstrate the products
. Generate Quotations
. Send Quotations to Customers
. Follow-Up Quotations

. Outgoing, Enthusiastic, Confident, Hard Working, Self-Motivated, technically minded and very organised Sales person
. Someone with a creative flare for marketing and sales strategy development
. Strong belief in delivering the highest levels of Customer Service
. Must be happy to turn a hand to whatever is needed in a small, fast paced and growing company
. Someone highly focused on quality and Customer service with the ability to represent the Company professionally in front of our customers
. A willingness to get stuck in to all aspects of the business
. Articulate speaker and writer essential
. Smartly presented in dress and appearance
. Dynamic approach to work is essential
. Positive individual who likes to work with and support others around them
Experience
. Some form of technical, engineering or industrial background would be a benefit, but is not essential
. Previous sales experience would be a benefit, but again is not essential
Essential skills / requirements
. Highly organised, positive and able to work alone or as part of a small team
. Has to have a friendly, polite, positive and confident approach with Customers
. Will need a good level of attention to detail
. High level of professionalism
. Highly accurate written English (for designing leaflets / social media content / writing quotes / etc...)
. Has to be able to generate neat, accurate and professionally written quotations / proposals
. Ability to use Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc...)
. Driving Licence
