Sales Representative

Building Materials Wholesale Ltd is looking for a Sales Representative to join the telesales team in our Woodford Green office.

We are looking for a hardworking candidate with great negotiating skills who want a sales career. Building Materials Wholesale is growing rapidly, and we are looking to add new Sales Reps.

As a Sales Representative, you will act as the first point of contact, selling our products to customers and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for dealing with the daily sales routine, specialist product enquiries, relationship building and closing sales. This salaried position starting with £30.000 per annum and includes a commission structure with a realistic £34OTE.

About the Role:

- Present, promote and sell products from all offered product categories to existing and prospective customers via email, phone and online chat

- Drive sales for the business by producing quotes and identifying opportunities for helping customers with their projects, and advising on related product lines

- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships

- Ensure effective creation and follow-up of sales quotations

- Maintain and follow up on ongoing queries

- Close sales by referring to price lists and supplier terms

- Liaise with suppliers, as required, to fulfil customer orders

- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company targets and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring

- Escalate product or customer issues to the Head of Supply Chain

- Be well organised and demonstrate the ability to prioritise and effectively complete multiple tasks

- Organise and take thorough notes on contacts in CRM and assign new tasks with follow-up calls and emails

- Develop and retain product knowledge by attending training events
