The Role:

We are looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join our growing Sales Team.  This person will be responsible for providing support primarily to Sales and Customer Services and will involve an equal mixture of admin tasks and telephone Sales Support calls.

Job responsibilities:

  • Providing all-round administrative and customer service support to the Sales Department.
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and dealing with routine client enquiries.
  • Providing information and guidance to clients on products and services.
  • Using our CRM system confidently to record calls, appointments, emails and work towards a sale.
  • Undertaking Customer Satisfaction calls on a regular basis.
  • Helping to plan conferences, exhibitions and sales trips.
  • Making sales calls.

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Have a positive, professional ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Good communications skills are essential: demonstrates the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client satisfaction.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a busy office environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Previous experience working in an office role or in customer service is preferred but not required.

Nice to have:

  • A degree in business, engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM applications.
  • A full clean driving license, with the desire to travel occasionally.
