Are you an experienced Sales Support Associate with strong communication skills and an ability to build and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
If so, we have a brilliant new opportunity available working for one of our closest Insurance broking clients in Birmingham.
Joining the business as a Sales Support Associate, working as part of one of their specialist teams, you will be responsible for generating leads/developing new business along with campaign management, marketing and maintaining a prospect database.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist in the generation of revenue and prospect communication providing quality qualified appointments to the development team whilst ensuring full FCA compliance and ensuring a quality service is provided to all prospects in accordance with their needs and requirements.
Key performance indicators:
- Qualify, update, and manage existing contact management system.
- To generate an agreed number of suitably qualified appointments per month to the new business executives from qualified data.
- To action all diary actions / tasks daily
Key tasks:
- Contact as a minimum number of prospects every day.
- Accurate maintenance of contact management system in accordance with the Company guidelines and rules
- Use qualified data provided within the system.
- Provide the new business executives with accurate new business appointments including: -
- Name of person meeting
- Telephone contact
- Time of meeting
- Where meeting is to take place
- Accurate description of your telephone conversation and required outcome.
- Diary call backs and ensure these are followed through at exact time.
- To execute agreed sales campaigns distributing compelling content for prospects & calling to follow up and build a relationship with the prospect to secure the meeting.
Communication
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with prospects and colleagues.
- Able to develop good relationships over the telephone to achieve required results.
Basic knowledge of the general principles of insurance -desired but not essential, people outside of the insurance industry are encouraged to apply.
