A bit about the job:
The role is within our Salesforce Delivery team. As part of the role offered, you'll be helping us to develop Salesforce capability across several different business areas. We have a team of DevOps resources, and we strive to be as efficient as possible, so we are always looking to improve on processes.
The team is all about agile software development, working with project teams. We collaborate extensively across different business projects, helping them to make things better for our customers.
Aviva operates a "smart working" policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in, Bristol.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git and Azure YAML pipelines, at design and process implementation level.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services, including Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for tracking the health, performance, and availability of Salesforce applications and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Experience with tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics and skills that include Agile delivery, version and change control disciplines with the coaching and mentoring skills a huge benefit.
- Competent collaborator with JIRA and Confluence.

- Salary Circa £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
