In the heart of a global IS transformation program, an exciting opportunity has emerged to join our Global SAP Platform and Enterprise team as an SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant.
Role Overview:
As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will be at the forefront of designing, customising, and deploying FICO solutions that align with business expectations. Beyond project implementation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing performance of systems and empowering end-users in their effective utilisation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage end-users support requests, providing resolutions and ensuring user confidence in system usage.
- Lead the delivery of FICO solutions, from collecting needs and conducting workshops to analysing gaps, designing solutions, customising, and writing ABAP specifications.
- Perform unit tests, train and assist end-users during the process, and ensure effective knowledge transfer through documentation.
- Uphold the principles of our SAP Core Solution, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to procedures.
Role Organisation and Scope:
You will be an integral part of the FICO SAP team, reporting to the FICO Manager, who, in turn, reports to the Director of SAP Platforms & Enterprise. Collaborating across Functional (Supply Chain) and Technical (ABAP, Basis, Security & Controls) teams, the role involves regular travel to Paris and potentially other SK sites. The FICO SAP team supports 38 countries and is involved in deploying SAP in new countries/entities, covering various finance and controlling areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems or Finance.
- Excellent SAP Finance & Controlling knowledge.
- Good knowledge of SOX procedures.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management.
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrated through experiences in interpreting end users' needs and delivering appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in business English (both spoken and written).
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Proactive team player.
