Key Responsibilities
- Perform change impact assessments, including scoping and estimation of changes, and identification of other impacted processes, functionality and applications.
- Functional workshops with business staff in support of change requests
- Create functional solution designs
- Undertake SAP solution configuration and unit testing
- Transition new solutions into support: KT to support teams, Knowledge articles etc
- Acts as L3 escalation point – advise on / augment support team in resolution of complex Production defects (underlying incidents/problems)
- Identification and investigation into BAU functional problems including root cause analysis
- Support the application of upgrades, patches, & OSS notes
- Maintenance of solution support knowledge plans

Person Specification
Technical / Professional Expertise
- Deep experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant (minimum 7 years required) ideally within the retail industry sector.
- Understanding of S/4- FI i.e GL, AP, VIM, EDI (Idocs), AR, Intercompany, CO, reporting and strong integration knowledge with MDG, and MM. Additionally, deep knowledge on Fiori and Solman is required.
- Deep experience in CR delivery i.e WRICEFW object design to documentation and end to end testing.
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
- Sound business process knowledge .
- Have advanced skills in Microsoft Office – especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to support analysis, documentation, and presentations as part of day to day role.
- Experience with JIRA, ALM.
