Mission statement

  • Proven experience of defining Enterprise wide architecture focused on Manufacturing and Procurement solutions.
  • Proven experience of creating a roadmap for Manufacturing and Procurement, including solution evolution and integration with other functions (eg Finance, Sales), MES and third party (including non-SAP Procurement) solutions.
  • Leads and delivers solution architecture for the given domain for new projects and programmes working with key business stakeholders
  • Delivery of the solution options and architectural blueprints that will drive delivery for the projects
  • Delivery of fit gap analysis across process, data and interfaces for S/4HANA centric transformation programmes
  • Demonstrable experience of working with senior business stakeholders
  • Manages the domain across all Project life cycle stages, ensuring processes are optimised and Embedded in the business.
  • Has a proven track record in deploying new and innovative solutions into FMCG businesses.

The role

The Lead Architect is responsible for leading and developing the current and future state architecture for their given domain. You will become the go to person when it comes to knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Procurement process, applications and integrations. You will have demonstrable experience of doing this in complex global organisations.

Working with the wider Enterprise Architecture team, the Business, and IT Delivery teams you will be responsible for building and maintaining a clear view of the business and technology landscape across Supply Chain and Procurement. This includes understanding the drivers for change, articulating the need for change, identifying innovation opportunities and being able to sell those ideas to the wider stakeholder community.

The Manufacturing Architect will also lead solution design for projects within the given domain. This will include the delivery of solutions options and solution design, ensuring they are well documented, adhere to the core architectural principles and standards and have been through appropriate client governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to document and articulate complex solution architecture(s)

  • Ability to identify changes required within a given architecture to deliver business change, architectural simplification, or removal of technical debt

  • Ability to deliver complex solution design covering data, application, and integration

  • Developed analytical skills with the ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems

  • Well-developed team leadership skills

  • Ability to think logically to analyse and solve problems

  • Able to build a consensus and drive and agree technical direction

  • Experience with architectural frameworks, tools, service-oriented architecture and building architectural artefacts.

  • Research and identify to drive appropriate innovation into business solutions.

A bit about you

You will need technical expertise and key personal traits for ERP implementation success. You'll need leadership, exceptional communication, resilience, adaptability, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.

You will have a passion for technology and efficiency will drive project excellence and contribute to our clients' and team's growth at Resulting IT. Your experience in handling large-scale ERP projects, particularly with SAP S/4HANA at the core will be vital. You should also have a track record of navigating complex project environments, managing stakeholder expectations, and leading diverse teams to successful project completion. Your ability to anticipate project challenges and devise effective solutions will be key to maintaining project momentum and achieving strategic objectives.

In addition to the above, you will have functional knowledge of:

  • Integration and protocols (eg EDI, SAP BTP, Azure, AWS)

  • SAP Material Management and Procurement

  • SAP Integrated Business Planning

  • SAP Production Planning (PP/PP-DS)

  • Kinaxis Sales and Operations Planning

  • SAP Transportation Management (Inbound/Outbound)

  • SAP Logistics Business Network

  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management

You may also have experience of end to end processes with Manhattan, Blue Yonder & MES solutions.
