Job Description:
Randstad Care is currently recruiting for an experienced SAS Team Manager Social Worker for the Hartlepool Borough Council.
This role involves managing and leading a dedicated team to ensure the effective delivery of social care services, particularly focusing on safeguarding adults and vulnerable groups.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the SAS team, including case allocation, supervision, and support of staff.
Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
Collaboration: Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and support for adults at risk.
Supervision: Conduct regular supervision and performance reviews for team members, supporting their professional development.
Assessment and Planning: Undertake social care assessments, support planning, and monitor service delivery to ensure high standards.

Requirements:
Qualifications: Must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Experience: Substantial experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a social care setting, with a strong background in safeguarding.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and partner agencies.
Knowledge: A thorough understanding of legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding and social care services.
