Do you care about trees? Are you a great Project Manager?
Are you skilled in logistical organisation, resource management, working with people and managing large budgets?
This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven and organised Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Saving Devon’s Treescapes project.
Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) is Devon’s leading wildlife conservation charity, with over 36,000 members, 350 regular volunteers, 100 staff and 63 nature reserves. We are one of the larger locally based organisations that collectively make up The Wildlife Trusts. DWT has pioneered the reintroduction of beavers in England and the restoration of internationally rare habitats like Culm Grassland.
Devon Wildlife Trust is leading the Saving Devon’s Treescapes project on behalf of a wide partnership with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project harnesses people’s passion about trees – many of whom have never undertaken practical conservation action before - to make lasting improvements to their local treescapes, providing hope in the face of the alarming changes that ash dieback is bringing. Having commenced in 2020, the aim is to plant 250,000 trees in 6 years. Ash dieback is everyone’s problem; Saving Devon's Treescapes will encourage everyone to be part of the solution.
In return for your hard work and dedication you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits including:
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Agile working arrangements including home working
• Flexitime system
• Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply)
• Death in Service cover
• Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
• Cycle to work scheme
• Training and development opportunities
