Salary An SC cleared Technical Author with extensive experience of S1000D is required for an initial 8 month contract. This role is to work on site full time in Bristol (there is no opportunity for any remote working) and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.
Essential Skills and experience:
*You must have the skills to read and interpret technical drawings (and 3D CAD Models) and Bills of Materials to originate technical information. The Technical Author will require exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and have a command of the 5Cs.
*You must have prior experience supporting defence equipment with a good knowledge of mechanical/electrical/communication systems.
*Extensive experience of S1000D
*HND or equivalent although happy to consider someone with extensive experience
