As experienced Scala Dev you must boast the ability to write clean code, appreciate Unit testing, Restful web services and service orientated architecture (its disadvantages and advantages). Joining a small dedicated Scala product team - can you write well-structured and tested code, Provide input into architecting new solutions, Suggest new approaches and processes & Play an active role as a member of an agile team
The cross functional agile teams work across a range of technologies and so this is an ideal role for an opportunity to gain exposure to new technologies and skills.
