Form of workAs an Attendance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the attendance and welfare of pupils in the community.
The role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The home/school visits are around Walsall Borough and the client will allow 1 day working from home per week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- To support the School Attendance Support Service with home visits to support attendance.
- To liaise with schools, professionals, and other agencies to address attendance concerns.
- Maintain accurate and appropriate records in respect of casework.
- Contribute to the positive development and welfare of children and young people in Walsall.
- Conducting home visits to ensure the attendance and well-being of pupilS.
- Collaborating with educational teams and families to promote School Attendance.
- Contributing to the positive development and welfare of children and young people.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Access to Own Vehicle: You must have access to your own vehicle, along with Business Insurance, as you will be responsible for commuting within our area to conduct home visits.
