If so, we’re looking for a capable School Attendance Officer and off-site Activities Co-ordinator to collaborate with key staff, parents/carers and stakeholders from local authorities to promote excellent pastoral care and a positive attendance culture.
The role of School Attendance Officer and off-site Activities Co-ordinator will include the need to establish effective and efficient monitoring of attendance, non-attendance and punctuality. You will need to produce reports and robust action plans to improve the key indicator. It is essential for the desired candidate to have a combination of excellent people skills, and have a pro-active, organised and motivated approach to your work.
School Attendance Officer and off-site Activities Co-ordinatorSummary:
- Working in conjunction with the senior leaders of the school to ensure high levels of attendance and tracking of figures across all year groups.
- To work with individuals and group of students, using attendance checks and contact with parents/carers to improve levels of attendance.
- To be a part of the administrative team and work closely with the Welfare Officer and school office staff to assist with medical team duties.
- Salary - £25-27k (term-time only)
- Must be willing to have or undergo an Enhanced DBS
- Prior school experience is desirable
- Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS etc
- Experience working in a busy environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong experience of Microsoft software
