A vibrant school in the The Warrington area , Merseyside region is seeking to appoint a strong-willed Teaching assistant specialising in behaviour, who is looking for an exciting new challenge.
The Role
The role will be to support a student on a 1:1 basis ADHD to settle back into mainstream lessons and help keep the student engaged in their learning
Due to the nature of the student's verbal behavoiur the School would ideally be looking for a Male for the role but are open to anyone looking at this opportunity
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A passion for teaching/supporting children in education.
- Excellent Behaviour management
- Ideally Experience in working with Children with ADHD
- An understanding of young people and the ability to work hard, Motivate and encourage them in developing and learning.
- The ability to organise and manage a person on a 1:1 basis
- A Teaching qualification and a DBS on the updated service or willing to obtain one
All applicants must either hold an up-to-date DBS disclosure on the update service or be prepared to undertake a fully enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to placement
