Your new role Hays Education is working with schools based in Leicester/Leicestershire who are looking for a Caretaker/Premises Officer/Facilities Assistant. This is an ongoing position, ideally starting as soon as possible and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role with the potential to go permanent. Your responsibilities will include:

• General grounds and building maintenance.
• Minor repair work e.g., changing light bulbs.
• Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working.
• Responsibility of building keys - locking and unlocking as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally experience in managing premises or maintenance
• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Be reliable, resilient, and hardworking.
