We are currently working with a great school in Newham who are seeking a School Catering Assistant to join as soon as possible till the end of the academic year!
 
As the School Catering Assistant, you will be preparing meals as set out in the school termly menu to around 45 individuals each day and preparing snacks to keep students and staff fuelled for the day!
 
School Catering Assistant Summary:

• Preparing all meals as set out in the termly menu and serving in the dining hall.
• Provide and maintain a high level of catering for the school programme.
• To ensure that the catering service runs efficiently with food being ready at the required times.
• Accepting food deliveries twice a week.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and utensils after services and food preparation.
• Training and extensive support provided by School Business Manager.

School Catering Assistant Role:

• Salary £23,000-£26000
• Contract, term-time only
• 9:30am to 2pm Monday-Friday

School Catering Assistant Requirements:

• At least 12 months experience as a Catering Assistant in a School is desirable.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 essential.
• Successful experience of providing high quality customer service.
• Passion for working in a school environment.
