This school are seeking a dedicated and experienced secondary School Cook to join their dynamic kitchen team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals for students.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a school kitchen setting is preferable.
- Ability to travel to Barnsley.
- Ability to handle the demands of serving 1200 pupils daily.
- Friendly, approachable, and a team player.
- Punctual and flexible with working hours.
- Well-presented with excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
- Knowledge of catering and basic cooking and food preparation skills.
