Aboutthe School Cook role:

The Head Teacher of a new brilliant primary SEN school in Theale is looking to recruit aSchool Cookto work within the kitchen of a newly refurbished school. You would be preparing meals and supporting the diets of children who have additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Trauma, and specific Learning difficulties.

This role will involve working on with the Headteacher to plan and create meals for children with dietary and sensory requirements.

You will have the opportunity to be supported by a school business manager, as well as the chance of being enrolled in in many professional development training courses.

Skills and experience required as our School Cook:

• Ideally have experience working in school environment
• Confident working in a busy kitchen
• Experience in producing food of a high quality
• Your own Uniform and safety shoes
• A current level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate
• Valid right to work in the UK
