Job description

Could you be a Lollipop Person? Is the safety of children and families on their way to and from school important to you? Do you like being outdoors (in all weathers!) and being a positive and responsible member of your local community? If you can answer YES to all of the above then Lincolnshire County Council would like to hear from you.

We are looking for a reliable, sensible and community minded individual to join the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Team as a Lollipop Person.

This is a part time role working 5 hours and 50 minutes a week during term time only; however the importance of the role is immeasurable.

Working 40 minutes at the beginning and 30 minutes at the end of the school day you will have the opportunity to become a true part of the community and ensure the safety of children and families on the county roads.

You will join a large team of dedicated individuals across the county.

We are keen to hear from those members of the community with good traffic awareness, a sense of responsibility and who are committed to carrying out this very important role. 

As you will be working a short split shift throughout the day, it is recommended that you live within a short distance of the site.
