School Food Technician Job - Derby

Hays Education are working with a busy mainstream secondary school in Derby who are looking for a Food Technician to join their D.T department. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity and could be the perfect fit if you're passionate about teaching and learning.

Your new role
Within this role, you will have a number of key responsibilities including preparing, setting up and monitoring equipment, assisting staff and students during practical activities, managing resources such as organising and ordering materials and stock, and handling administrative tasks such as keeping records and storing work.

• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to use initiative and work independently
• Confident supporting teaching and learning
