School Kitchen Assistant

MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS

Responsibilities:

– Assist in meal preparation and food production in the kitchen
– Follow recipes and instructions provided by the chef or kitchen supervisor
– Help with food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
– Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed

Experience:
– Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
– Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
– Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Skills:
– Restaurant experience
