About the role

We are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join our team. We are particularly interested in hearing from colleagues with experience in school administration, who can lead change and inspire a team. We envisage exciting times ahead as we look to evolve our administrative processes and systems.
This is a pivotal role and will involve working alongside senior leaders, including the school business manager, to co-ordinate the smooth running of the school as well as shape the future of school operations. Getting the right person in post is important for us so although this is currently a full-time role we are willing to consider part-time or flexible working options.

What will you be doing?

Your main areas of responsibility would be:
To actively model and promote the values and ethos of the school
To be responsible for the management of the School Office, overseeing that all administrative processes are carried out to a high standard enabling the school to operate efficiently and effectively and ensure compliance with DfE and LA requirements
To be responsible for the personnel administration, HR processes and payroll
To lead on providing effective line management of support staff, including the administrative team.
To provide administrative support to the headteacher, senior leaders and school business manager

About you

We are interested in hearing from potential colleagues who have several years experience working in a busy School Office. You will have excellent customer service skills, communication and problem solving skills and be a confident user of IT and management information systems.
