School Place Planning Officer
Job Description

Swindon Borough Council are seeking a School Place Planning Officer to join their team on a part-time basis.
The role requires the successful candidate to work 3 days per week and involves a hybrid of site visits and on-site working.
The contract for this role will be for 10 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's School Place Planning strategy


• Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on School Place Planning matters


• Undertake site visits and assessments to support School Place Planning


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective School Place Planning


• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to School Place Planning

Requirements

• Previous experience in a School Place Planning role


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to School Place Planning
