School Premises Officer - Leicestershire

Your new role

Hays Education are working in partnership with an independent secondary school based in Leicester that are looking for a Premises Officer. The position will be from Monday to Friday (7am-4pm) starting as soon as possible and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role with the potential to go permanent. Your responsibilities will include:

• General grounds and building maintenance.

• Safety + Security of building/minor repairs, painting, decorating, minor building works (building shelves, changing locks etc), monitoring cleaning contract.
• Responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises, including buildings, fixtures, fittings and furniture.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Be reliable, resilient and hardworking.
