School Receptionist

Are you an experienced School Receptionist looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?

Winner Education are working closely with a school in Moseley, assisting them with the recruitment of a School Receptionist. The role is full time, up to 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to start immediately on a long-term placement with the potential to go into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support with a busy reception area
• Be the first point of contact for visitors
• Update management information systems
• Postal duties
• Answer telephone and face to face enquiries
• Maintain accurate pupil attendance records
• Conduct visitor sign ins along with ID checks
• Provide administrative support as and when required
• Maintain Free School Meal eligibility records

The Successful School Administrator will:

• Have previous School Receptionist/administration experience
• Be highly motivated, professional and forward thinking
• Display strong organisational abilities and skills
• Have proficient computer skills including experience with SIMS and Parent Pay
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
• Need to be flexible in working across the whole school
