Are you an experienced School Receptionist looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working closely with a school in Moseley, assisting them with the recruitment of a School Receptionist. The role is full time, up to 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to start immediately on a long-term placement with the potential to go into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support with a busy reception area
- Be the first point of contact for visitors
- Update management information systems
- Postal duties
- Answer telephone and face to face enquiries
- Maintain accurate pupil attendance records
- Conduct visitor sign ins along with ID checks
- Provide administrative support as and when required
- Maintain Free School Meal eligibility records
The Successful School Administrator will:
- Have previous School Receptionist/administration experience
- Be highly motivated, professional and forward thinking
- Display strong organisational abilities and skills
- Have proficient computer skills including experience with SIMS and Parent Pay
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
- Need to be flexible in working across the whole school
