School Receptionist \ Administrator required!

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting an experienced School Administrator to join a special needs school in Birmingham. The school caters for deaf pupils aged between 11 and 19. The school are seeking to appoint a well-organised, reliable and enthusiastic person with proven experience in dealing with constantly changing priorities to join a very busy office team. The role is 32.5 hours per week to start from September.

We are seeking an individual who can:

• a working knowledge of SIMS (preferred)
• excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• the ability to work under pressure
• excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
• the ability to work both without supervision and as part of a busy team

Your duties will include:

• provide reception and telephone support to the school, delivering messages as appropriate
• receiving, signing in and dealing with or directing pupils, parents and other school visitors as appropriate
• receiving and sorting incoming mail and deliveries for delivery to appropriate staff
• use of the school MIS system to record learner details
