Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Maintain Laboratories: As a Science Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our laboratories are well-equipped, organized, and ready for inspiring experiments and practical lessons.
- Resource Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of science resources, ensuring they are readily available for teachers and students.
- Health and Safety: Implement and uphold strict health and safety protocols within the laboratories, fostering a secure environment for experimentation.
- Technical Support: Provide essential technical support to the science department, assisting teachers and students in the effective use of laboratory equipment.
- Previous experience as a Science Technician in an educational setting.
- A passion for science and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject among students.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant qualifications in science or a related field.
- You will need a valid DBS
- You will need proof of right to work in the UK
- You will need to be able to provide references so we can conduct background checks
