School Sports Coach - Islington

Smart Teachers are recruiting for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join a school in Islington

About the role

• Start ASAP, initially until the end of the academic year with the possibility for a permanent contract
• To provide support during PE lessons and give all children a fair chance to access the physical education curriculum
• May be asked to also provide in classroom support during lessons
• Full time role, normal working hours are 08:30 - 15:30

• School caters for a diverse cohort of pupils who all stem from different backgrounds
• A strong focus on PE lessons with the Headteacher wanting kids to excel in all subjects including PE
• Excellent transport links within walking distance to the school

Requirements

To be considered for the role of School Sports Coach - Islington you will:

• Have an enhanced child workforce DBS

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Have experience teaching PE in schools or experience coaching sport with children
