School Sports Mentor

Are you a sports enthusiast who loves working with children and young people?Do you have the enthusiasm, patience and creativity to deliver sports sessions?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Sports Mentor with our partner school.

We are looking for a Sports Mentor who can:• Deliver and evaluate fun and engaging sports sessions that cater for the diverse needs and abilities of our pupils with SEMH needs• Support and motivate pupils to participate in physical activities and develop their skills and confidence• Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour and promote a positive and safe learning environment• Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, carers and external agencies to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development• Follow the school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection• Participate in the school's professional development programme and contribute to the school's ethos and vision

You will have:• A passion for sports and physical education• Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in an educational setting• A relevant qualification or training in PE or related subject (desirable but not essential)• A commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills• A flexible, adaptable and resilient approach
