School Youth Worker - Nottingham

Your new company
Hays Education are working with a secondary school close to Nottingham city centre who are looking for an experienced Youth Worker to join their team of learning support assistants to support their SEND students and challenging behaviour.

Your new role
You will be working full-time Monday-Friday in a supportive and dedicated team. You will be working across KS3, KS4 and KS5 assisting students and sometimes their families with additional support. You may be working with small groups, larger classes or 1:1 depending on the needs of students to support, advise and create a safe and engaging environment. You will be an advocate for these students, and work collaboratively with other members of staff to provide the support which is required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working or coaching children in a school or youth club environment. You will be able to form strong bonds with the students and be a positive and enthusiastic role model. You will work well within a team and be dedicated to providing the best support to all children and their families.
