Process Instruments (UK) Ltd. (Pi) is an established group of companies with a t/o projected to be more than £7m in 2026, which provides high-quality water quality analysers to all water-related industries including drinking water, wastewater, and industrial water across the globe. Pi has been growing at an exciting rate for ten years (excluding COVID years) and is the proud recipient of two Queens Awards.
Our solutions include our market-leading analysers that combine traditional instrument capability with class-leading controls and Water 4.0 cloud-based, remote-access solutions.

Based in Lancashire, we are recognised as a world-leading expert in our field, working collaboratively with partners globally. You can find our water analyser solutions in more than 60 countries with subsidiaries in France and Ireland, and a company representative in China.
Working within Pi’s marketing department is a rewarding process requiring industry, application, and product expertise. Pi sells its products in the UK direct to end users and via companies who Private Label our products, while in export markets it is via Private Label customers and Distributors. Pi is a great place to increase your skill set as part of a talented team.
The Role
As a Science Graduate, you will operate as part of our marketing team.
In this varied role, you will:
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues
- Provide marketing expertise to the sales and wider teams
- Provide support to the Managing Director with regards to product launches and new marketing methods
Full training will be provided, and you will start your career with Pi working in the office alongside existing staff.
About You
To be considered as a Science Graduate, you’ll need:
- Excellent communication skills
- A determined and tenacious approach
- Great team-working skills
- At a minimum, a 2:1 degree in science or engineering
Any prior work experience will be beneficial to your application, but not essential. If you are a teacher looking to change careers, please apply - we have had great success with ex-teachers (currently six in the business).
