As a Student Support Worker, you will primarily be engaged in Key Stage 4 GCSE-level activities, with possibilities for Key Stage 3 involvement. Your subject expertise will guide your timetable, providing a personalised experience to develop your skills.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Assisting in classes focused on English, Mathematics, and/or Humanities, contributing to the improvement of students' progress.
Small Group and Individual Assistance: Work closely with small groups or individual students, following the guidance of the class teacher to address specific tasks.
Catch-up and Intervention Sessions: Support identified students in catch-up and intervention sessions under the supervision of senior staff, ensuring individualised attention.
Lunchtime Support: Collaborate with senior staff during lunchtime to maintain a calm and orderly environment in the refectory and around the school grounds.
