Day Rate £176 - £244

We are looking for a Teacher of Science KS3 & KS4 to help an inpatients SEMH setting, based in East London.

I am specifically seeking an Science Teacher who is available immediately (or ASAP) to step in and assist the setting, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year. Working hours are 8.30am - 4pm.

The setting itself is very small, with max capacity of 15 students at any one time. You will be teaching Science to KS3 & KS4 students in groups of no more than 4 at a time.

Some of the needs of the students you would be supporting include; emotional dysregulation, school refusers, SEMH and psychosis.

This is also an opportunity for the role to go permanent and to join an exceptionally positive and forward thinking setting from September 2024.

Teachers with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply. This post is suitable for ECT'S and experienced teachers.

Main duties include :

• Teaching Science at KS3 & KS4 level

To be successful :

• Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
• Ideally have experience working with students who have complex SEMH needs (or at the minimum a willingness to undertake CPD opportunties once you have joined the setting)
