Science Teacher
Annual Salary: £150 - £250 per day
Location: Woking, Surrey
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanency)
We are seeking a committed and ambitious Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Woking, Surrey. This full-time, temporary role offers the opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science as part of an excellent team in a school rated “good” by Ofsted. The ideal candidate will have a positive approach to teaching, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Full-time teaching of Science in Key Stage 3 and 4
- Teaching all elements of Science
- Time allocated for planning and marking
- Building positive relationships with students
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Up-to-date knowledge of the current curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to different educational settings
- Recent experience teaching in UK Schools
- Proven track record of raising attainment
- Confidence and adaptability in different environments
- Ability to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
