We are seeking a qualified Secondary Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in an East Sussex Secondary School that is part of a growing and supportive Academy. As a key member of our faculty, you will contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment while nurturing the academic and personal growth of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in accordance with the Science curriculum.
- Foster a love for science by incorporating innovative teaching methods and practical experiments.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Science or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to staying updated on curriculum changes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
