Science Teacher - Secondary - North London

Science Teaching position in North London.
Rate: £140 - £240 per day depending on experience.
Easter 2024 start.

This Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Secondary School is based near North London, who are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to teach KS3&4 pupils. You will have the privilege to work with an already highly reputable school and work within the Science department. This position start after Easter 2024 but trials and interviews will be taking place ASAP (must be available for upcoming trials or interviews).
Your new role
Starting Easter 2024, you will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. As this is a long-term position, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupil's work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parent's evenings and other school functions. You must also have commitment and passion to work with pupils with a wide and diverse range and want to be members of motivated and ambitious staff team with expectations for our learners to achieve and want to achieve in life.
What you'll need to succeed.

• Qualified QTS.
• Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 pupils.
• Previous experience teaching Science in a school environment.
• Enhanced DBS - on the updated service
• Knowledge of Secondary Curriculum and assessments.
• Demonstrates commitment
• An ambitious Science Teacher who shows leadership aspirations.
• Must be able to commute to North London.
• Available from Easter 2024.
