A Modern Secondary School in Greenwich are searching for an Experienced Science Teacher or Science ECT to join their team of 11 teachers in September 2024

The Director of Science currently leads the department and is open to a Science Teacher of any specialism, whether you're a Physics Teacher, Chemistry Teacher or Biology Teacher, they are able to support ECTs or offer a range of TLRs.

If you're an experienced, academically gifted Science Teacher you will be welcomed to lead on KS5 Science or take on a Lead Practitioner position.

This modern, mixed gender secondary school have gone from strength to strength over the past few years, with staff describing the SLT as inspiring and welcoming. There is strong focus on staff wellbeing, including plans for working from home & PPA from home in the new academic year.

• Science Teacher + TLR
• Full time, permanent contract
• MPS1 - UPS3 + TLR (Inner London Payscale)
• £36,745 - £56,959 per annum
• Teaching across KS3-KS5 Science
• Various TLRs available including KS5 Science Lead

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Science Teacher + TLR

• Experienced Science Teacher or Science ECT
• UK QTS is essential
• Experience teaching multicultural, diverse students would be beneficial
• Genuine passion for Science
• Experience teaching Science KS3 - KS5
• Ideally a Physics or Chemistry specialist
