SalarySCIENCE TECHNICIAN
39 hours per week (8.00-16.30 with 15.30 finish on a Friday), term time + 3 weeks
Salary: £22,047 (Full time equivalent £25,195)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate to work as part of the Science Technician team and support the Senior Science Technician. Candidates must have a genuine interest in science and have good organisation and interpersonal skills with a team player attitude. This is a busy Science Department therefore you must be able to work with the minimal of supervision as well as demonstrating both practical and pro-active skills. We can provide first class training and the opportunity to develop your skills.
This is an interesting and varied role and duties include looking after laboratory equipment, setting-up lessons, ensure the prep room is clean and tidy, maintaining stock and general administrative work.
Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
